Please join us on Saturday May 5th at the San Dimas Canyon Golf Course for a fabulous day of golf, lunch, raffles and a silent auction ALL for a good cause. This is the 6th Annual Charity Golf Tournament for the San Gabriel Special Needs Group.
The Special Needs Committee educates and supports San Gabriel Unified special needs students and their parents and care givers. They also offer scholarships to graduating special needs students. It is an amazing group of support and caring individuals and families. Special Needs can mean so many different things, it can be a child with Autism, a Chromosome Disorder, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, A.D.D or A.D.H.D, Aphasia as to name a few. This group supports ALL parents of students who just might be learning a little differently than others. The group was founded by Cheryl Shellhart. And Cheryl is an amazing advocate for these families.
There are many wonderful prizes to be won! Two Apple iPad 32GB with WiFi and 4 tickets to Magic Mountain are some of the awesome prizes you can win with a raffle ticket. If you would like a raffle ticket reach out me, or Cheryl and we can that to you! Winner does not need to be present! Also available at the raffle during lunch will be amazing gift baskets, a golf club, gift cards and so much more! Those tickets can be purchased the day of the event. there is also 2 opportunities for a hole-in-one. The grand prize is a brand new Chevy Cruze provided by Rotolo Chevrolet and the second prize is $3,000.00 How awesome is that?!?!?
Now how can you get involved?? It's EZ!! If you want to register, you will receive your round of golf, a cart and lunch! Registration is at 6AM the morning of the tournament. Shot gun start at 7AM sharp! Awards, lunch and raffle following play at the San Dimas Canyon Golf Course. The cost is $150.00 per player and your proceeds will go 100% to the San Gabriel Special Needs Group. If you would like to golf, please call (626) 656-5563 and you can pay by credit card.
