Summer Movies in the Park 2019

Bring blankets and beach chairs to get comfortable as you watch these family-favorites on our giant screen.
Free Popcorn provided.
Activities begin at 7:30 p.m. and movies start at sunset (approx. 8 p.m.).
Friday, June 21: Sequoia Park - "Spiderman - Into the Spiderverse"
Friday, July 12: George Elder Park – "How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World." (Please use the park's east entrance on Lupine Ave. near the tennis courts.)
Friday, August 2: Barnes Park Amphitheater - "Captain Marvel"
Concerts in the Park

Join us for the sweet sounds of summer in the City of Monterey Park at the Barnes Park Amphitheater.
Free concerts will begin at 6 p.m.
Sunday, June 9: Cold Duck (grooving rhythms)
Thursday, July 4: Bulletproof Soul (R&B, funk and top 40). Free Independence Day live entertainment and fireworks show (live entertainment begins at 5 p.m.).
Sunday, August 11: Adelaide (Latin & Top 40). This concert is sponsored by Los Angeles County Supervisor, Hilda Solis.
The amphitheater is located in Barnes Park at the corner of Ramona and Harding Avenues.
